It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qantas, created in response to the threat posed by airline Virgin Blue. is a Japanese low-cost airline headquartered in Narita, Chiba. Initially planned to commence flights in late 2012, it launched ahead of schedule on 3 July 2012. The airline serves destinations across the Asia-Pacific region, using a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft.
