''Jennifer'' is a 1978 American supernatural horror film directed by Brice Mack, starring Lisa Pelikan, Bert Convy, Wesley Eure, Nina Foch, and John Gavin. Its plot follows a young woman who, ostracized by her peers at an elite boarding school, enacts violent revenge via her psychokinetic ability to control snakes. Plot Jennifer Baylor is a poor young woman from West Virginia who possesses a supernatural power over snakes, an ability to control them and communicate with them. She and her father, Luke, left their home in disgrace, because when Jennifer was 7 years old, some snakes she had been handling killed the town preacher's son. Jennifer Warnes
Jennifer Jean Warnes (born March 3, 1947) is an American singer and songwriter. She has performed as a vocalist on a number of film soundtracks. She has won two Grammy Awards, in 1983 for the Joe Cocker duet "Up Where We Belong" and in 1987 for the Bill Medley duet " (I've Had) The Time of My Life". Warnes also collaborated closely with Leonard Cohen. Early life Warnes was born on March 3, 1947, in Seattle, Washington but raised in Anaheim, California. Her desire and ability to sing came early; at age seven she was offered her first recording contract, which her father declined. She sang in church and local pageants until age 17 when Warnes was offered an opera scholarship to Immaculate Heart College. She was so committed to her Catholic faith, that for a while she entered a convent after graduating from high school. Supergrass are an English rock band formed in 1993 in Oxford. For the majority of the band's tenure, the line-up consisted of brothers Gaz (lead vocals, guitar) and Rob Coombes (keyboards), Mick Quinn (bass, backing vocals) and Danny Goffey (drums, backing vocals). Originally a three-piece, Rob Coombes officially joined the band in 2002. The band signed to Parlophone Records in 1994 and produced ''I Should Coco'' (1995), the best-selling debut album for the label since the Beatles' ''Please Please Me''. ''Faust IV'' is the fourth studio album by the German krautrock group Faust, released in 1973. The album is included in the book '' 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die'', where it is referred to as a "krautrock classic". This was the last album by the first incarnation of the band, they returned in 1994 with the release of '' Rien'' featuring a different line-up.
