Jayamalini (or Jaya Malini) is an Indian actress who has acted in more than 500 Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi movies. Career She was introduced to Tollywood in 1975 by Vittalacharya in the movie he produced, ''Aadadani Adrustam''. She acted in several Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam movies. She learned dancing from Heeralal master. She had a very big hit in the 1978 Telugu remake ''Jaganmohini''. Personal life She married Parthiban, a police inspector on 19 July 1994 and settled in Chennai with her only son. In 2005, the former actress and dancer was busy looking for a writer to help pen her biography. Her sister Jyothi Lakshmi was also a cabaret dancer in films. ''Jaganmohini'' () is a 1978 Telugu-language drama film produced and directed by B. Vittalacharya. The movie was a remake of the 1951 Kannada movie '' Jaganmohini''. ''Andha Oru Nimidam'' () is a 1985 Tamil-language thriller film directed and written by Major Sundarrajan. The film stars Kamal Haasan and Urvashi while Jayamalini, Thengai Srinivasan and Pandari Bai play supporting roles. It was released on 31 May 1985. Plot Kumar is a lawyer by profession and also actively involved in social work. Jyothi Lakshmi (2 November 1948 – 9 August 2016) was an Indian actress who appeared in more than 130 movies. In the early 1970s, she was well noted for her leading roles and songs in movies.
