Iorana
''Iorana'' (Rapanui: ''Hello'' and ''Goodbye'') is a Chilean telenovela produced by TVN. It was written by Fernando Aragón, Arnaldo Madrid, Hugo Morales and Nona Fernández. Directed by Vicente Sabatini, Patricio González and Rodrigo Sepúlveda. Plot Cristián (Álvaro Morales) is in love with the beautiful Rapanui girl Vaitea (Alejandra Fosalba). They have decided to marry, but several diverse and alien interests stand between them. The most important of them: the past of Cristián's father, Fernando Balbontín ( Francisco Reyes), who fled his home on Easter Island 15 years ago, accused of a crime that he did not commit. Juan Falcón Marcial (born 27 April 1965) is a Chilean-Cuban actor. Falcón was born in La Habana. He supports the Cuban Revolution, but settled in Chile in 1990 to live with his wife, the daughter of Chilean exiles who had fled their country after the 1973 military coup. Álvaro Morales (actor)
Álvaro Enrique Morales Rojas (born Santiago, September 14, 1968) is a Chilean theater and television actor. For his interpretations, he has been the recipient of several awards, among them being the winner of an APES for best leading actor for his role as Martín Ortúzar in the telenovela ''Los Pincheira''. He attended the Fernando González Theater Club, where together with Marcelo Leonart – his friend from school – he founded the Merri Melodys theater company. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia).
