Intergang
Intergang is a fictional organized crime syndicate appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Armed with technology supplied by the villainous New Gods of the planet Apokolips, they consistently appear as enemies of various DC superheroes. Intergang appears in the DC Extended Universe film '' Black Adam'' (2022). Publication history Intergang first appeared in '' Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen'' #133 (October 1970) and was created by Jack Kirby. Members of Intergang were first shown in the first issue of Kirby's ''Forever People'' in 1971. Fictional organization history Pre-''Crisis'' Intergang was founded in the 1920s by a gangster, Moxie "Boss" Mannheim, who was later killed by rivals. Bruno Mannheim
Bruno "Ugly" Mannheim is a supervillain appearing American comic books published by DC Comics. He is an Intergang crime boss who is the son of Moxie Mannheim and one of Superman's enemies. Publication history The character first appeared in ''Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen'' #139 (July 1971) and was created by Jack Kirby. Fictional character biography Pre-Crisis Bruno Mannheim is a member of Intergang working under the clone of Morgan Edge. He is also the son of Moxie "Boss" Mannheim. Mannheim and his minions kidnap Guardian, Goody Rickels, and the Newsboy Legion and has them eat a meal laced with pyro-granulate. After letting them go, Bruno states that they will burn up in 24 hours. Guardian forced Bruno Mannheim into giving up the antidote for the pyro-granulate enabling him to save himself, Jimmy Olsen, and Goody Rickels as wells as the Newsboy Legion. Josephine MacDonald Josephine MacDonald, also known as Josie Mac, is a police officer of GCPD, first appearing in ''Detective Comics'' #763 (December 2001), created by Judd Winick and Cliff Chiang. Josie Mac had a promising career ahead of her, until she responded to a call and discovered the mayor's wife in bed with an exotic dancer. Four days after the incident, her mistake of embarrassing the mayor's wife got her moved to the Missing Persons department at the precinct. Josie made the best out of her transfer because unknown to her colleagues, she possessed minor psychic powers, which allowed her to find things and people which are lost through picking up "messages" from inanimate objects. Josie's first case in Missing Persons got her partnered up with Oscar Castro. The grandson of mob boss Anthony Antonelli was declared missing. ''Black Adam'' is a 2022 American superhero film starring Dwayne Johnson as the titular DC Comics character. The film is a spin-off to '' Shazam!'' (2019) and the 11th film in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines, and Sohrab Noshirvani. Morgan Edge is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Originally a supporting character, he is a media mogul who acquires '' The Daily Planet'' and employs Clark Kent as a television journalist for his WGBS TV network. After the '' Crisis on Infinite Earth'' series which led to a revision of the DC Universe, the character was changed to a Superman villain and one of the known leaders of Intergang. Adrian Pasdar portrayed Morgan Edge in the Arrowverse series ''Supergirl''. In ''Superman & Lois'', Adam Rayner played a version of the character who is also Superman's Kryptonian half-brother named Tal-Rho. Forever People are a fictional group of extraterrestrial superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. They first appeared in ''Forever People'' #1 ( cover-dated February–March 1971), and were created by Jack Kirby as part of his "Fourth World" epic. Publication history The protagonists of the series are a group of young New Gods from New Genesis who were on a mission to oppose Darkseid on Earth, and talked, dressed, and acted much like the flower children of the 1960s. In addition to the individual abilities and equipment of the members, the group can join together using the technology of a Mother Box to summon the powerful hero known as the Infinity-Man. Darkseid () is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by writer-artist Jack Kirby to serve as the primary antagonist of his "Fourth World (comics), Fourth World" metaseries, and was first seen briefly in ''Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen'' #134 in December 1970 before being officially introduced in the debut issue of ''Forever People'' in February 1971.
