Haicang District
Haicang () is one of the six county-level districts of Xiamen, People's Republic of China, and one of the four located on the mainland proper, as opposed to on Xiamen Island. History Haicang has always been the port of call for incoming trade to Xiamen. In May 1989, the Chinese government established the Haicang investment zone as a petrochemical industrial area within Xinglin District for Taiwanese business magnate Wang Yongqing. Since then, Haicang has developed into a world class port, which serves as an industrial and agricultural base for exports. Geography The Haicang District Investment Zone is located on the lowermost left (or northern) bank of the Jiulongjiang River, to the west of Xiamen Island. Tianzhu Mountain
Tianzhu Mountain or Mount Tianzhu () is a mountain in Anhui, China. Tianzhu Mountain is also called Mount Wan (), from which the provincial abbreviation for Anhui ("Wan") derives. Ancient names of the mountain include Mount Huo 霍山, Mount Heng 衡山 (not to be confused with Mount Heng in Hunan Province), and Taiyue 太岳. The mountain is located in Qianshan County, Anqing City. Tianzhu Mountain has 45 peaks which are collectively 1000 meters above sea level. Its highest point has an elevation of . There are two paths to reach the top, either from the east or from the west; many will try the west path first because it is the easier one. Jiulong River
The Jiulong River, formerly known as the Longjiang or Zhangjiang, is the largest rivers of China, river in southern Fujian and the second largest in the province. It has a length of and a basin of . Like all Fujianese rivers Ting River, but one, it flows into the Taiwan Strait. Course The Beixi rises in the prefecture-level city, prefecture of Longyan; it flows east into the prefecture of Zhangzhou, where it merges with the Xixi to form the Jiulong. Wang Yung-ching (; 18 January 1917 – 15 October 2008), also called YC Wang, was an entrepreneur who founded a large business empire in Taiwan. Jimei District
() is one of six districts of Xiamen, People's Republic of China. Founded in 1992, with an area of , in 2003 it gained some territory in a reorganisation of district governments. The total local resident population is 280,000. Jimei District has a rich history and vibrant culture. It hosts modern facilities such as universities, a culture center, cinema, stadium, library and culture square.
