Gilbert Remulla
Gilbert Cesar Catibayan Remulla (born September 5, 1970) is a Filipino journalist and politician. Biography Gilbert is the seventh and youngest child of former Governor Juanito R. Remulla and Ditas Catibayan Remulla. His brothers include current Cavite Governor Juanito Victor "Jonvic" Remulla and Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin "Boying" Remulla. Gilbert spent his childhood in Bel-Air, Makati and Imus, Cavite. He spent his elementary years in the now defunct De La Salle University Grade School, high school at the Ateneo de Manila and went to the University of the Philippines Diliman for his college education. He served as a National President of AIESEC, and was an active member of the Upsilon Sigma Phi fraternity. Imus
Imus, officially the City of Imus ( fil, Lungsod ng Imus), is a 3rd class component city and ''de jure'' capital of the province of Cavite, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 496,794 people. It is the ''de jure'' capital of the province of Cavite, located south of Metro Manila, when President Ferdinand Marcos decreed the transfer of the seat of the provincial government from Trece Martires on June 11, 1977. However, most offices of the provincial government are still located in Trece Martires. Imus was officially converted into a city following a referendum on June 30, 2012. Sangguniang Kabataan
Sangguniang Kabataan (abbreviated as SK; ) is a council meant to represent the youth in each barangay in the Philippines. It was put "on hold", but not quite abolished, prior to the 2013 barangay elections. In January 2016, the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act was signed into law which made some significant changes to the SK and initially scheduled new elections for October 2016. In March 2017, the elections were postponed anew to May 2018. The SK Chairman leads the Sangguniang Kabataan. A Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) composed of representatives of different local youth groups supports the SK and its programs. The Sangguniang Kabataan is the successor of the Kabataang Barangay (KB; ) which was abolished by the Local Government Code of 1991. Mario Teodoro Failon Etong (; born March 29, 1962), popularly known as Ted Failon, is a multi-awarded Filipino broadcast journalist both on radio and television. He also served as a representative of the 1st district of Leyte from 2001 to 2004.
