FM104 is an independent local radio station broadcast across Dublin, Ireland, on the frequency 104.4 MHz. It is operated by Capital Radio Productions Limited (unconnected with, and not to be confused with, Capital Radio plc), and is a subsidiary of the Wireless Group, which itself is a subsidiary of News UK. The station broadcasts under a contract from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland. FM104 broadcasts from Macken House in Dublin's Docklands. History Capital Radio, as the station was originally called, was the first Independent Local Radio contractor to take to the air on 20 July 1989. ''The Strawberry Alarm Clock'' is a morning radio programme on FM104, an Independent Local Radio station in Dublin. It broadcasts weekday mornings from 6-10am, with "Best Of The Strawberry Alarm Clock" Saturdays from 9am-12pm. The show podcasts weekly through www.fm104.ie History The show began in 1995, and was originally presented by Timmy Ryan, Justin McKenna, Conor Mahoney and Joan Lea. 98FM is a local radio station in Dublin, Ireland, operated by Bauer Media Audio Ireland, under a sound broadcasting contract from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland. Highland Radio is the local radio service for the County Donegal (North) franchise, operating under a licence from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI). Broadcasting since 17 March 1997, it broadcasts mostly music, with a daily news and current affairs programme. Seán Munsanje (born 10 July 1981) is an Irish television presenter from Dublin. He has presented shows for several channels in his native country, including Raidió Teilifís Éireann, Channel 6 and, most recently, TV3. On 11 August 2009, he won the TV3 reality television programme, '' Total Xposure'', thus becoming the new presenter of the channel's prime time entertainment magazine programme ''Xposé''. Dublin's Q102 is a commercial radio station in Dublin, owned by Wireless Group which is in turn owned by News UK. It broadcasts on 102.2 MHz FM. The station is licensed to target the 35+ age group, and must provide hourly news, as well as current events programming. It broadcasts under a contract from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland. Q102 broadcasts from Macken House in Dublin's Docklands. The station was launched as Lite 102.2. On purchasing the station, UTV rebranded it to Dublin's Q102 thanks to research of Dublin people aged over 35, who decided on bringing back the name of a former pirate radio station. Relaunch The station's relaunch was orchestrated by former Big Brother UK contestant Ray Shah, who took over the station until it was relaunched.
