Evernote is a note-taking and task management application. It is developed by the Evernote Corporation, headquartered in Redwood City, California. It is intended for archiving and creating notes in which photos, audio and saved web content can be embedded. Notes are stored in virtual "notebooks" and can be tagged, annotated, edited, searched, and exported. Evernote is available on Android, iOS, macOS, and Microsoft Windows, as well as a web client. Phil Libin (born February 1, 1972) ( rus, Филлип Либин; was born in Leningrad, USSR in 1972, and moved to America when he was eight years old. He served as CEO of the Silicon Valley-based software company Evernote from 2007 to 2015, then became Executive Chairman of Evernote's board. In September 2015, Libin joined General Catalyst Partners as its fourth general partner in Silicon Valley.
