Eve Arden
Eve Arden (born Eunice Mary Quedens, April 30, 1908 – November 12, 1990) was an American film, radio, stage and television actress. She performed in leading and supporting roles for nearly six decades. Beginning her film career in 1929 and on Broadway in the early 1930s, Arden's first major role was in the RKO Radio Pictures drama '' Stage Door'' (1937) opposite Katharine Hepburn, followed by roles in the comedies '' Having Wonderful Time'' (1938) and the Marx Brothers' '' At the Circus'' (1939). She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in '' Mildred Pierce'' (1945). Michael Allan Warren (born 26 October 1948) is an English portrait photographer, primarily known for his images of members of high society. An actor and talent manager in his youth, he rose to prominence for portraits of British nobility, politicians, and celebrities. His subjects include Alec Douglas-Home, Cary Grant, Sophia Loren, Charles III, Louis Mountbatten and Laurence Olivier. The Unfaithful (1947 Film)
''The Unfaithful'' is a 1947 murder mystery starring Ann Sheridan, Lew Ayres and Zachary Scott, and directed by Vincent Sherman. Regarded by some as a film noir, the picture is based on the W. Somerset Maugham-penned 1927 play and William Wyler-directed 1940 film '' The Letter'', which was reworked and turned into an original screenplay by writers David Goodis and James Gunn. Belle Baker (December 25, 1893 in New York City – April 29, 1957 in Los Angeles) was an American singer and actress. Popular throughout the 1910s and 1920s, Baker introduced a number of ragtime and torch songs including Irving Berlin's " Blue Skies" and " My Yiddishe Mama". She performed in the Ziegfeld Follies and introduced a number of Irving Berlin's songs. An early adapter to radio, Baker hosted her own radio show during the 1930s.
