El Súper Clásico (Mexico)
''El Súper Clásico'' (English: ''The Super Classic''), also known as ''El Clásico'' (English: ''The Classic''), and ''El Clásico de Clásicos'' (English: ''The Classic of Classics''), is an association football match between Mexican clubs Club América and Guadalajara. It is considered the biggest rivalry in Mexican football, and one of the biggest in world football. Both teams are the two most successful in Mexican football in terms of championships, with América winning 13 league titles and Chivas trailing them with 12. Real Madrid Club de Fútbol C, commonly known as Real Madrid C, was a Spanish association football team that played in the Tercera División – Group 7. It was Real Madrid's second reserve team. Pável Pardo Segura (; born 26 July 1976) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Pardo spent most of his career playing with Club América and is the fourth most capped player in the history of the Mexico national football team. Pardo participated in two World Cups (1998 and 2006), won two CONCACAF Gold Cups and won the FIFA Confederations Cup with Mexico in 1999. The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as the Copa Libertadores de América ( pt, Copa Libertadores da América), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960. It is the highest level of competition in South American club football. The tournament is named after the '' Libertadores'' (Spanish and Portuguese for ''liberators''), the leaders of the Latin American wars of independence, so a literal translation of its former name into English is "''America's Liberators Cup''". The InterLiga was a football competition from 2004 to 2010 between Mexican clubs to determine qualifying spots for that country in South America's premier club competition, the Copa Libertadores. Prior to the 2004 Copa Libertadores, Mexican clubs competed in two levels of competition—first against one another, and then against clubs from Venezuela—for spots in the main competition. In 2004, Mexico and Venezuela were granted automatic entries to the Copa Libertadores for the first time. The Mexican Football Federation decided to create a qualifying league for its two automatic spots, and the first InterLiga was held that January, during the off-season of the Mexican Primera División. The CONCACAF Champions League, known officially as the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League for sponsorship reasons, is an annual continental club football competition organized by CONCACAF. The tournament is contested by clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. The winner of the CONCACAF Champions League automatically qualifies for the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup. The tournament currently uses a knockout format; it had a group stage prior to the 2018 competition. The Apertura 2016 Copa MX (officially the Apertura 2016 Copa Corona MX for sponsorship reasons) was the 76th staging of the Copa MX, the 49th staging in the professional era and is the ninth tournament played since the 1996–97 edition. Juan Francisco Palencia Hernández (born 28 April 1973) is a Mexican former professional footballer and manager. Club career Cruz Azul Palencia trained with the Cruz Azul youth system at age 13 and made his debut in the Primera División (First Division) in 1994 at age 21.
