Edmonton County School
Edmonton County School is a coeducational all-through school and sixth form for pupils aged 4 to 18. The school is located over two sites in Edmonton, London, Edmonton in the London Borough of Enfield in north London, England. Admissions The Cambridge Campus (formerly the upper school until the end of 2009/2010 academic year) buildings are the site which was used by the former grammar school on the Great Cambridge Road (A10) near Bush Hill Park railway station. John Hinch (mathematician)
Edward John Hinch (born 4 March 1947) is a Professor of fluid dynamics at the University of Cambridge, and fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge. His research covers a wide range of fluid dynamics, including micro-hydrodynamics, colloidal dispersion, flow through porous media, polymer rheology and non-Newtonian fluid dynamics. He also works on industrial problems involving fluid dynamics, including collaborating with experimental groups in Paris, Marseille and Toulouse. He lectures undergraduates at the University of Cambridge, is a Director of Studies for Trinity College, and supervises PhD students. John Hinch has published more than a hundred papers on fluid dynamics. Bill Fay
Bill Fay (born William Fay; 1943) is an English singer-songwriter. His early recordings were released by Deram, but following the release of his second album in 1971, Fay was dropped by the label. His work enjoyed a growing cult status in the 1990s, and his older works were re-issued in 1998 and 2004/2005. Fay's 2012 album '' Life Is People'' was his first album of all-new material since 1971. His most recent album, '' Countless Branches'', was released on 17 January 2020. Biography Early career Fay was born in north London, where he still lives. William John Berry (16 October 1944 – 3 August 2012), better known as John Berry, was a speedway promoter, team manager, and writer who revived the Ipswich Witches in 1969 and managed the England team. Ray Winstone
Raymond Andrew Winstone (; born 19 February 1957) is an English television, stage and film actor with a career spanning five decades. Having worked with many prominent directors, including Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg, Winstone is perhaps best known for his "hard man" roles (usually delivered in his distinctive London accent). The first of these was the character Carlin in '' Scum'', the 1979 film remake of a BBC television play in which Winstone had originated the role, and which was not broadcast due to its violent nature. Martin Poll (priest)
Martin George Poll, (born 1961) is a British Church of England priest and former Royal Navy chaplain. Since 2012, he has been the Canon Chaplain of St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, and Domestic Chaplain to the Queen. Bernadette Jean "Kelly" Johnson (20 June 1958 – 15 July 2007) was an English guitarist and singer, widely known in the UK in the early 1980s as the lead guitarist of the all-female rock band Girlschool. Biography Johnson started playing piano after her father when she was five years old, switching to guitar at age twelve. She attended Edmonton County School in Edmonton, London, where she discovered rock music and played bass and piano in school bands. She went back to guitar and was already writing and playing her own material when she met her future bandmates at the age of 19.
