Double Bonus
Double Bonus is a Singaporean Chinese drama which was telecasted on Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp Channel 8. It stars Zoe Tay , Terence Cao , Michelle Chia , Zhang Yao Dong , Mimi Chu & Chen Shucheng of this series. This drama serial consists of 23 episodes. It made its debut on 3 Jan 2012 and was screened on Channel 8 at 2100hrs on every weekday night. Synopsis Yongjia BBQ Pork is a century old shop famed for its bak kwa. The owner of Yongjia, Jin Wentao (portrayed by Chen Shucheng) is not interested in running the business. So his wife, Shujiao (portrayed by Zhu Mi Mi) is the one who helms it. The profit margin for bak kwa is high, giving rise to the opening of numerous bak kwa shops. Bonus (basketball)
In the sport of basketball, the bonus situation (also called the penalty situation) occurs when one team accumulates a requisite number of foul (basketball), fouls, which number varies depending on the level of play. When one team has committed the requisite number of fouls, each subsequent foul results in the opposing team's taking free throws regardless of the type of foul committed (i.e., whether or not the foul was a shooting foul). Teams under the limit are commonly referred to as having fouls to give, and thus they can try to disrupt their opponents without being penalized free throws. These fouls reset every quarter or half depending on the rules in use (i.e. FIBA, NBA, NCAA, etc.). Zhang Yaodong
Zhang Yaodong (, born Teoh Yeow Tong on 17 December 1977) is a Malaysian actor based in Singapore. Career Zhang entered the entertainment industry after finishing first runner-up in the Malaysian edition of talent-search contest Star Search in 2001. Star Awards For Young Talent
The Star Awards (Chinese: 红星大奖) are awards for artistic and technical merit in the media organisation Mediacorp of Singapore where Mediacorp recognises entertainers under their employment for outstanding performances of the year. The awards are given annually in a ceremony. The various category winners are awarded a trophy, with initial designs featuring various star shapes. The star was subsequently removed and the trophy is designed as a S shaped column, depicting the star. History The 1st Star Awards presentation was held on 26 February 1994, took place at the Caldecott Broadcast Centre, MediaCorp TV Theatre with an audience of about 500 people. Star Awards 2013 ( Chinese: 红星大奖 2013) was a double television award ceremony held in Singapore. It is part of the annual Star Awards organised by MediaCorp for the two free-to-air channels, MediaCorp Channel 8 and MediaCorp Channel U. Star Awards 2013 was broadcast live on Channel 8, on 21 April 2013 and 28 April 2013. The first ceremony was held at the MediaCorp TV Theatre while the second ceremony was held at the Marina Bay Sands. The ceremonies were also broadcast on 8 International and the second ceremony on Astro AEC & Astro Quan Jia HD for the first time in HD. Kate Pang
Kate Pang (, born 11 March 1983) is a Singaporean and Taiwanese former actress and television host. She was a full-time Mediacorp artist till 31 October 2017 but continues to film on an ad hoc basis.
