Dhammika Sudarshana
Tuduwa Kankanamge Dhammika Sudarshana (born 19 June 1976) is a former Sri Lankan cricketer and current head coach of Sri Lanka U19 cricket team. He pursued his education at the Richmond College, Galle. Career Dhammika started playing school cricket for Richmond College and also went onto captain his school cricket team. He played domestic cricket for Moors Sports Club, Galle Cricket Club and Panadura Sports Club. He also captained the Galle CC in domestic cricket for a brief stint. The then head coach of Sri Lanka Dav Whatmore influenced his inclusion in the Sri Lanka A team but his first national callup was hampered after sustaining a knee injury while warming up playing football. In February 2004, he was included in Sri Lanka Board XI squad captained by Russel Arnold for List A match against touring Australia. Galle ( si, ගාල්ල, translit=Gālla; ta, காலி, translit=Kāli) (formerly Point de Galle) is a major city in Sri Lanka, situated on the southwestern tip, from Colombo. A bio-secure bubble, also known as a bubble, or hub city, was a hosting arrangement for sporting events that emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic, under which events were held at a centralized site, often behind closed doors, with strict quarantine and safety protocols in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is the governing body for cricket in Sri Lanka. It was first registered with the Sri Lankan Ministry of Sports as the Board of Cricket for Sri Lanka (BCCSL) on 30 June 1975 as a national sports body. The board was renamed in 2003. Grant William Flower (born 20 December 1970) is a Zimbabwean cricket coach and former cricketer. He is the current batting coach of Sri Lanka cricket team and Sussex. He is rated among the best Zimbabwean cricketers in history for his consistent left arm spin and fine batting skills. Indian Cricket Team In Sri Lanka In 2021
The India cricket team toured Sri Lanka in July 2021 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. All the matches took place at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Originally, the tour was scheduled to take place in June 2020, but was moved back to August 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, before being postponed.
