The Burmese–Siamese War (1759–1760) ( my, ယိုးဒယား-မြန်မာစစ် (၁၇၅၉–၁၇၆၀); th, สงครามพม่า-สยาม (พ.ศ. 2302–2303)) was the first military conflict between the Konbaung dynasty of Burma (Myanmar) and the Ban Phlu Luang Dynasty of the Ayutthaya Kingdom of Siam. Dawei River
The Dawei River or Tavoy River ( my, ထားဝယ်မြစ်) is a river of the Tanintharyi Region, Burma. Geography It has its source in the Tenasserim Hills and flows from north to south, the northern branch of the Tenasserim River running parallel to it. It ends in the Andaman Sea coast. In the last stretch of its course it forms a navigable estuary before it meets the sea. Off the shore there are a number of small islands on the western side of the estuarine area. Districts ( my, ခရိုင်, Kharuing; ) are the second-level administrative divisions of Myanmar. They are the sub-divisions of the States and Regions of Myanmar. According to the Myanmar Information Management Unit (MIMU), as of December 2015, there are 76 districts in Myanmar, which in turn are subdivided into townships, then towns, wards and villages. Andaman Sea
The Andaman Sea (historically also known as the Burma Sea) is a marginal sea of the northeastern Indian Ocean bounded by the coastlines of Myanmar and Thailand along the Gulf of Martaban and west side of the Malay Peninsula, and separated from the Bay of Bengal to its west by the Andaman Islands and the Nicobar Islands. Its southern end is at Breueh Island just north of Sumatra, with the Strait of Malacca further southeast.
