Dalian () is a major sub-provincial port city in Liaoning province, People's Republic of China, and is Liaoning's second largest city (after the provincial capital Shenyang) and the third-most populous city of Northeast China. Located on the southern tip of Liaodong peninsula, it is the southernmost city in both Liaoning and the entire Northeast. Liaoning
Liaoning () is a coastal province in Northeast China that is the smallest, southernmost, and most populous province in the region. With its capital at Shenyang, it is located on the northern shore of the Yellow Sea, and is the northernmost coastal province of the People's Republic of China. Historically a gateway between China proper and Manchuria, the modern Liaoning province was established in 1907 as Fengtian or Fengtien province and was renamed Liaoning in 1929. Xinghai Square (), is a city square in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China. It is located to the north of Xinghai Bay. It covers a total area of , created entirely through land reclamation, making it the largest city square in the world. Its name literally means "the Sea of Stars". Russian Dalian
Russian Dalian, also known as Kvantunskaya Oblast, was a territory of the Russian Empire that existed between its establishment after the Pavlov Agreement in 1898 and its annexation by Japan after the Russo-Japanese War in 1905. Located near the southernmost point of the Liaodong Peninsula, the city of Dalian came under the territorial control of the Russian Empire from 1898 until that country's defeat in the Russo-Japanese War in 1905. Olympia 66
Olympia 66 () is a major shopping complex in Xigang District of Dalian, Liaoning, China, designed by Aedas, which began construction in 2011. It is located on Wusi Road, one of the main commercial avenues in Dalian. Completed in 2015, Olympia 66 has 221,900 square meters of shopping, dining and entertainment space. Kwantung Leased Territory
The Kwantung Leased Territory ( ja, 關東州, ''Kantō-shū''; ) was a leased territory of the Empire of Japan in the Liaodong Peninsula from 1905 to 1945. Japan first acquired Kwantung from the Qing Empire in perpetuity in 1895 in the Treaty of Shimonoseki after victory in the First Sino-Japanese War.
