Colors Infinity
Colors Infinity is an Indian pay television channel owned by Viacom18. It primarily airs popular shows from the United States and the United Kingdom along with a few original shows to appeal to the English-speaking population of India and a few other South Asian countries. The channel was co-curated by Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt. Original Programming Along with airing syndicated TV series, it also started producing its own original series. Till date it has produced four original series. * ''The Stage'' is the first ever home grown English language singing show and premiered on 10 October 2015. The show provided a platform to 20 raw talent from around the country in a quest to find India's best English language singer. Colors Bangla, previously known as ETV Bangla, is an Indian general entertainment pay television channel broadcasting in Bengali language. It was launched in 2000 as ETV Bangla, owned by the Hyderabad-based ETV Network. It was later sold to TV18 and was rebranded under the Colors moniker. History The channel aired the Filmfare Awards East 2017. The channel was re-branded under the Viacom18 Colors franchise on 1 April 2015. Colors Bangla started their HD channel from 2 May 2016 along with the HD versions of Colors Kannada and Colors Marathi. Nickelodeon Sonic (formerly Sonic-Nickelodeon) is an Indian children's pay television channel operated by Viacom18 as part of the Nickelodeon India network. After on the air, Sonic became the fourth most watched channel across all genres with TRP in December 2020. History Viacom18 launched the channel in December 2011. When it launched, the channel mostly aired action shows like ''Power Rangers'', ''Kung Fu Panda'' and ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles''. On 3 May 2016, the channel was rebranded with the tag line "Destination of high decibel comedy and action", and was given a new logo. Since the rebrand, the channel has shifted its focus to comedy and started producing some original local shows. Nick Junior is an Indian children's pay television kids channel which is devoted to toddlers. The channel is the Indian equivalent to the original American network and a part of the Nickelodeon franchise. History The channel was a block on Nick India then Viacom18 launched it as a separate channel in fall of 2012. Viacom18 launched TeenNick India and Nick Jr. as a single channel on 21 November 2012. At first, Nick Jr. aired in the daytime while TeenNick aired at night. However, TeenNick was discontinued on 1 February 2017, which made Nick Jr. a 24-hour channel. Nickelodeon HD+ (abbreviated as Nick HD+) is an Indian children's pay television channel based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.It is the High definition counterpart of Nickelodeon India and is owned by Viacom 18, a joint venture between Paramount Global and TV18.Original content from original American network are shown only on this channel. History On 5 December 2015, Viacom 18 launched Nickelodeon HD+, the first children's channel in high definition in India. Nickelodeon (abbreviated as Nick) is an Indian children's pay television network based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is the Indian equivalent to the original American Network and is owned by Viacom18, a joint venture between Paramount Global and TV18. Despite using the "Nickelodeon" branding, it does not air any content from the original American network in recent times as part of a localisation strategy, and thus, original Nickelodeon content is only broadcast on the Nickelodeon HD+ channel.
