''Chembakame'' is a Malayalam musical album released in 2006. Franco, Madhu Balakrishnan, Asha G Menon, Vidhu Prathap and Jyotsna are the singers and Shyam Dharman was the composer. Raju Raghavan wrote lyrics for the songs. The album was a runaway success and even made challenge to the popular film songs released at that time, being on the top for ten months. Franco Simon
Franco Simon (born 7 October 1974) is an Indian singer and music composer from Kerala. He has sung around 150 Malayalam films songs and 1500 album songs in 5 different languages. He is the nephew of well-known Indian film composer Ouseppachan. He is a recipient of GMMA award and multiple Yuvaprathibha Puraskar for his soundtrack albums. Biography Franco Simon Neelankavil was born to Simon N.P. and Alice M.L on 7 October 1974 in Thrissur, Kerala, India. He is the oldest of four children. According to his parents, he has exhibited great interest in music and started singing at a very early age. Vidhu Prathap (born 1 September 1980) is an Indian playback singer. He has sung many songs in over 600 films in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu languages. Career Early life Vidhu Prathap was born in 1980 in Kaithamukku in Trivandrum, Kerala, as the son of Prathapan and Laila. He did his early education from Holy Angel's Convent Trivandrum and then completed his schooling at Christ Nagar School, Thiruvananthapuram. During his school days in Christ Nagar, he used to participate in mono-acts and mimicry and had a real penchant for singing.
