César (film)
''César'' is a 1936 French films of 1936, French film, written and directed by Marcel Pagnol. It is the final part of his Marseille trilogy, which began with the film ''Marius (1931 film), Marius'' and was followed by ''Fanny (1932 film), Fanny''. Unlike the other two films in the trilogy, ''César'' was not based on a play by Pagnol, but written directly as a film script. In 1946 Pagnol adapted the script as a stage play. Plot Honoré Panisse is dying, cheerfully, with friends, wife, and son at his side. He confesses to the priest in front of his friends; he insists that the doctor be truthful. But, he cannot bring himself to tell his son Césariot that his real father is Marius, the absent son of César, Césariot's godfather. Panisse leaves that to Fanny, the lad's mother. Dissembling that he's off to see a friend, Césariot then seeks Marius, now a mechanic in Toulon. César Batiz
César Batiz is a Venezuelan investigative journalist. He previously worked with the country's largest newspaper, ''Últimas Noticias'', and is currently the director of ''Poderopedia'' and ''El Pitazo''. In many of his writings, he has taken on issues of corruption that have put him at odds with the governments of Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro. Education and early career César Batiz graduated from the Universidad del Zulia in 1996. He has worked for the publications ''Panorama'', ''La Verdad'', ''Últimas Noticias'', and ''La Electricidad de Caracas''. In 2008 he returned to ''Últimas Noticias'', the largest-circulation daily in Venezuela as an investigative journalist. César Augusto Gaviria Trujillo ( ; born 31 March 1947) is a Colombian economist and politician who served as the President of Colombia from 1990 to 1994, Secretary General of the Organization of American States from 1994 to 2004 and National Director of the Colombian Liberal Party from 2005 to 2009. During his tenure as president, he summoned the Constituent Assembly of Colombia that enacted the Constitution of 1991. César-Auguste Jean-Guillaume Hubert Franck (; 10 December 1822 – 8 November 1890) was a French Romantic composer, pianist, organist, and music teacher born in modern-day Belgium. He was born in Liège (which at the time of his birth was part of the United Kingdom of the Netherlands). He gave his first concerts there in 1834 and studied privately in Paris from 1835, where his teachers included Anton Reicha. After a brief return to Belgium, and a disastrous reception of an early oratorio ''Ruth'', he moved to Paris, where he married and embarked on a career as teacher and organist. César Horacio Duarte Jáquez (born April 14, 1963) is a Mexican politician, a member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, who has twice been a federal deputy. He was President of the Chamber of Deputies of Mexico from 2008 to 2009, while representing Chihuahua's ninth district, and he served as Governor of Chihuahua for the period 2010 to 2016. César Fabián Delgado Godoy (born 18 August 1981) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a winger. He also played as a central midfielder, making piercing forward runs through the center of the opposition's defence. César Roel Schreurs, best known as César Costa, is a Mexican actor and rock-and-roll singer. Costa was born in Colonia Condesa of the Mexican capital.
