Byron Burke
Byron E. Burke is an American record producer, who has worked in the music industry for over twenty years. He served as the Co-Executive Vice President of the music division for Prelude music & Film Works that released the 1998 motion picture ''Lost In Space'' for New Line Cinema, as well as co-writing and producing music for artists on Atlantic Records, East West Records, MAW Records, Nervous Records, Strictly Rhythm Records, Capitol Records, Universal Records and Columbia Records. By the age of 19, Burke became the Vice President for Burstinglaw Music Productions in Chicago, Illinois. Burke was the creative force behind Ten City, an early 1990s dance group that has established them as one of the pioneers of House Music. Lost In Space (film)
''Lost in Space'' is a 1998 American science-fiction adventure film directed by Stephen Hopkins, and starring William Hurt, Matt LeBlanc, Gary Oldman, and Heather Graham. The plot is adapted from the 1965–1968 CBS television series of the same name (itself inspired by the 1812 novel ''The Swiss Family Robinson'' by Johann David Wyss). New Line Cinema is an American film production studio owned by Warner Bros. Discovery and is a film label of Warner Bros. It was founded in 1967 by Robert Shaye as an independent film distribution company; later becoming a film studio after acquired by Turner Broadcasting System in 1994; Turner later merged with Time Warner (later known as WarnerMedia from 2018 to 2022) in 1996, and New Line was merged with Warner Bros. Atlantic Recording Corporation (simply known as Atlantic Records) is an American record label founded in October 1947 by Ahmet Ertegun and Herb Abramson. East West Records (stylized as east''west'') is a record label formed in 1955, distributed and owned by Warner Music Group, headquartered in London, England. Nervous Records
Nervous Records is a UK rockabilly music independent record label. It was formed in 1979 by Roy Williams, a DJ on the UK rock'n'roll scene. Nervous Records is credited by many as the leading record label behind the emergence of the British neo-rockabilly and psychobilly scene in the early 1980s and released many of the earliest records by key British artists of the genre including The Polecats, The Sharks, Frenzy and Restless - as well as leading acts from other European countries including Batmobile (Netherlands) and The Nekromantix (Denmark). Although not a musician himself, Williams produced many of the bands whose music he released. Williams introduced Producer/Engineer Paul “Doc” Stewart to psychobilly. Strictly Rhythm is an American house music record label. History Strictly Rhythm relaunched in 2007 after a five-year break, following a venture with Warner Music. Ten City (derived from ''intensity'') is an American, Chicago, Illinois-based R&B and house music act, that enjoyed a number of club hits and Urban radio hits in the late 1980s and early 1990s and was one of the first exponents of deep house. Forest Park (formerly Harlem) is a village in Cook County, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, United States. The population was 14,339 at the 2020 census.
