Brent Anderson (Mississippi Politician)
Brent Anderson (born October 17, 1972) is an American politician serving as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from the 122nd district. Elected in November 2019, he assumed office on January 7, 2020. Early life and education Anderson was born in Gulfport, Mississippi in 1972. After graduating from Bay High School, he attended the Mississippi Fire Academy and Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy. He also completed a program through the Mississippi State Department of Health. Career Prior to entering politics, Anderson worked for the Waveland Police Department and Bay Saint Louis Fire Department. He has since worked as the public works director, building official, and federal recovery manager for the city of Waveland, Mississippi Waveland is a city located in Hancock County, Mississippi, United States, on the Gulf of Mexico. Brent Anderson (born June 15, 1955) is an American comics artist known for his work on ''X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills'' and the comic book series ''Astro City''. Early life In junior high school, Brent Anderson discovered the pantheon of characters in Marvel Comics. The first Marvel comic he read was ''Fantastic Four'' #69, "By Ben Betrayed" (Dec. 1967), "They were a family who had super-powers and helped each other out. I wanted to be part of a family like that," he says. Anderson began writing and drawing his own comics on school binder paper, creating a pantheon of his own that included "Radium the Robot" and "The Chameleon". After doing fanzine illustrations, Anderson's first professional comics work appeared in the mid-1970s in independent/underground publications such as ''All-Slug'', ''Tesserae'', and ''Venture''. Brent Anderson (born in Pascagoula, Mississippi) is an American country music singer. He has charted on Hot Country Songs with the single "Amy's Song". Anderson learned to play bass guitar at age 7, and later began playing acoustic guitar in a trio that included his father and father's cousin. By 17, Anderson had signed his first songwriting deal. He then signed with Sea Gayle, a division of Arista Nashville owned by Brad Paisley. In late 2011, he released his debut single "Amy's Song". The song samples Pure Prairie League's 1973 hit "Amie" and includes backing vocals from Vince Gill and Pure Prairie League founder Craig Fuller. Taste of Country reviewer Billy Dukes gave the song four stars out of five, praising Anderson's "smoky" voice and the lyrics. He wrote the 2014 song Lonely Tonight, which was sung by Blake Shelton and hit number 1 on the ''Billboard'' Country Airplay charts. Brent Leslie Anderson (born 10 March 1960) is a former New Zealand rugby union player. A lock, Anderson represented Wairarapa Bush and Waikato at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks The New Zealand national rugby union team, commonly known as the All Blacks ( mi, Ōpango), represents New Zealand in men's international rugby union, which is considered the country's national sport.
