Bingolotto
''Bingolotto'' is a Swedish primetime television game show lottery that was first broadcast 1989 on local TV and since 1991 nationwide on the Swedish network TV4. The show is a collaboration work between Swedish TV channel TV4, the Swedish lottery game company Folkspel and the Swedish sports life. The show premiered on 16 January 1989 on the local TV channel Kållevisionen with the highly popular Leif "Loket" Olsson as show host. Since the beginning, the show has given 16 billion Swedish krona to the Swedish sports life centre. 1989–1999: Early rise, success In January 1989, ''Bingolotto'' premiered and Olsson introduced the game show to the people in the Gothenburg area. Leif "Loket" Olsson
Leif "Loket" Olsson, (born 12 July 1942) is a Swedish television host, sports journalist, radio host, and danceband singer. He is most recognized as the host of ''Bingolotto'' on TV4 between 1991 and 1999. Olsson got his big breakthrough as the host of the radio programme ''Radio Ringlinjen'' which started in 1978. In 1992 Olsson was awarded the Lennart Hyland-Award as "most popular television personality of 1992" for his work on ''Bingolotto''. Olsson is also known for hosting ''Svenska Idrottsgalan'' between 2000 and 2002, and also for the economy show ''Deklarera med Loket och Unni''. Career Handball referee Olsson started his career as a handball referee in a career that included refereeing the handball semifinal between Yugoslavia and Romania at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany. TV4 (''TV fyra'') is a Swedish free-to-air television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the TV4 Media AB. It started broadcasting by satellite in 1990 and, since 1992, on terrestrial television. In 1994, TV4 became the largest channel and remained so for a number of years. The two channels of Sveriges Television (SVT) lost more and more viewers for a couple of years. After making schedule changes in 2001, SVT1 had practically the same numbers of viewers as TV4. Lars Ove "Lasse" Kronér (born 15 November 1962) is a Swedish television presenter and musician, who resides in Onsala. Between 1985 and 1999 he became famous as a member of the music and show group Triple & Touch. Since then, he has mostly appeared as a presenter of various game shows on TV. BingoLotto (Norwegian Game Show)
''BingoLotto'' is a lottery game show which aired on Norwegian television channel TV 2 from 1993 to 1994; an import of the Swedish show of the same name. It failed to garner the millions of TV viewers witnessed in Sweden, and was cancelled. In autumn 1996, an attempt was made to restart the show with a more famous host, but the attempt stranded since two consecutive governments each refused to grant a lottery concession. Rickard Olsson-Essé, (born 7 February 1967 in Gävle) is a Swedish television and radio presenter. He presented ''Bingolotto'' between 2005 and 2008 and since 2008 he presents the quiz show ''" Vem vet mest?" and " Vem vet mest junior?"'' broadcast on SVT. Ingvar Gunnar Oldsberg (31 March 194510 February 2022) was a Swedish television presenter and sports journalist. Early life Oldsberg was born on 31 March 1945 in Annedal Parish, Gothenburg. Anna Charlotte "Lotta" Engberg (born Pedersen; 5 March 1963) is a Swedish singer. She represented Sweden in Eurovision Song Contest 1987 with " Boogaloo" after winning Melodifestivalen 1987. Gunde Anders Svan (born 12 January 1962) is a Swedish former cross-country skier and auto racing driver. During his cross-country skiing career he won a total of four gold, one silver and one bronze medals at the Winter Olympics.
