Bhagyashree Dasani (née Patwardhan; born 23 February 1969) is an Indian actress and social worker. She is known for her roles in Hindi language film and television. Bhagyashree had her breakthrough starring as Suman in the film '' Maine Pyar Kiya'' (1989), for which she received critical acclaim, and it has since become her signature work; for her performance, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. ''Maine Pyar Kiya'' () is a 1989 Indian Hindi-language romantic musical film written and directed by Sooraj Barjatya. Produced by Rajshri Productions, the film stars Salman Khan and Bhagyashree.
