Bhadrachalam
Bhadrachalam is a census town in Bhadradri Kothagudem district in the Indian state of Telangana. It is an important Hindu pilgrimage town with the Bhadrachalam Temple of Lord Rama, situated on the banks of Godavari river. It is located east of state capital, Hyderabad, from Khammam, from Warangal, from the Andhra Pradesh state capital Amaravathi and from Visakhapatnam. History The town has a documented history of Lord Sri Rama temple constructed circa 17th century CE by Kancherla Gopanna. Bhadrachalam Temple
The Sri Sita Ramachandraswamy temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Rama, a prominent avatar of the god Vishnu. It is located on the banks of the Godavari River in the town of Bhadrachalam in east Telangana, India. Often simply referred to as Bhadrachalam or Bhadradri, the temple is considered one of the ''Divya Kshetrams'' of Godavari and is also revered as Dakshina Ayodhya.
