Tadla
Tadla is a historical and geographical region of Morocco, located in the center of the country, north of the High Atlas mountain range and west of the Middle Atlas. It is the region of origin of the eponymous collection of tribal, semi-nomadic pastoralist population, the Tadla tribes. Nowadays, the historical region of Tadla is mainly part of the administrative region of Béni Mellal-Khénifra, except for the historical territory of the Beni Meskine tribe, which is part of the Casablanca-Settat administrative region. Beni Hassan
is a Japanese R&B singer, who debuted in 2004 under the Avex Trax label. In 2008, Arashiro left Avex Trax and transferred to Universal Music Japan where she started to perform as simply Beni (stylized as BENI). Beni Ahsen
The Beni Ahsen ( ar, بني احسن) is an Arabian Moroccan tribe which belongs to the bigger Maqil tribe.Historical dictionary of the bedouins. Muhammad Suwaed. 2015. History The tribe settled in Morocco, north-Africa in the 12th century. Around the 16th century, they moved to the Missour and Almis area. In the 17th century, they advanced towards the northwest of the Sefrou region, in order to reach the Mamora forest and the plain of the Gharb. In the 18th century they were pushed more westwards by the Zemmour tribe, which moved up from the south. Today they are located in the region stretching from Salé to Sidi Slimane. Rahamna
Rahamna ( ar, الرحامنة) is an Arabic tribe of Arab descent who settled north of the Sahara between the 13th and 15th centuries. In 1525, they mobilized with Mohammed esh-Sheikh to fight the Portuguese in Agadir, Mogador, Safi and Mazagan. In the second half of the 16th century, they inhabited a vast plain north of Marrakesh. Maqil
The Banu Ma'qil ( ar, بنو معقل) was an Arab nomadic tribe that originated in South Arabia. The tribe emigrated to the Maghreb region of North Africa with the Banu Hilal and Banu Sulaym tribes in the 11th century. They mainly settled in and around the Saharan wolds and oases of Morocco; in Tafilalt, Wad Nun (near Guelmim), Draa and Taourirt. With the Ma'qil being a Bedouin tribe that originated in the Arabian Peninsula, like Banu Hilal and Banu Sulaym, they adapted perfectly to the climatic desert conditions of the Maghreb, discovering the same way of life as in the Arabian Peninsula. The Ma'qil branch of Beni Hassan which came to dominate all of Mauritania, Western Sahara, south Morocco, and south-west Algeria, spread the Hassaniya Arabic dialect, which is very close to the pure classical Arabic.
