Bagolino
Bagolino ( Brescian: ) is a ''comune'' in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy, Italy, in the valley of the river Caffaro, on the right side of Valle Sabbia. Bagolino is known for the cheese named Bagòss and the carnival. Similar to grana padano, Bagòss is a salty cheese with traces of natural mold at times. The village retains its medieval appearance, with abutting historical buildings and winding streets, arcades, squares, fountains, and narrow stairs that go up to the church of St. George. Lake Idro
Lake Idro ( it, Lago d'Idro, also ''Eridio'' from la, Eridius lacus, lmo, Lac d'Ider, german: Idrosee) is an Italian prealpine lake of glacial origin situated largely within the Province of Brescia (Lombardy) and in part in Trentino. At 368 m above sea level it is the highest of the Lombard prealpine lakes. The lake is fed principally by the waters of the river Chiese; that river is also its only emissary. It has a surface area of 11.4 km² and a maximum depth of 122 m. The lake is surrounded by wooded mountains. Bienno ( Camunian: ) is an Italian ''comune'' in Val Camonica, province of Brescia, Lombardy, classed as one of the five most beautiful villages of Italy by the Council of Tourism of the Association of Italian Municipalities (ANCI). Caffaro (river)
The Caffaro is a 25 km river of northern Italy whose course lies within the Province of Brescia, sometimes forming the border with Trentino. It belongs to the basin of Lago d'Idro. Its source is on Cornone di Blumone, a peak in the Rhaetian Alps, near the Passo del Termine within the commune of Breno, in the Parco regionale dell'Adamello regional park. The river then runs through the Val di Caffaro entering the territory of Bagolino and flows into the Chiese just before the latter enters lago d'Idro at Ponte Caffaro. Breno ( Camunian: ; obsolete german: Brenn) is an Italian comune of 4,986 inhabitants in Val Camonica, province of Brescia, in Lombardy.
