''An Acoustic Night at the Theatre'' is the second live album by Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation that has been released in October–November 2009. History The album is made up of the acoustic set at Eindhoven's Muziekcentrum Frits Philips, from the band's Theatre Tour, on 30 November 2008. It also includes a new studio recording, "Utopia", a duet with Chris Jones, which was released as a single on 23 October 2009. Drummer Mike Coolen performed on the acoustic set: he later became the band's full-time drummer, replacing Stephen van Haestregt who moved on to new band My Favorite Scar. Within Temptation
Within Temptation is a Dutch symphonic metal band founded in April 1996 by vocalist Sharon den Adel and guitarist Robert Westerholt. They have been classified by critics as gothic metal and symphonic metal, although each album contains other influences outside these genres. Their most prominent and well-known sound is described as symphonic metal, although their earlier material, such as debut album ''Enter'', was mostly gothic metal,Sharpe-Young, "Metal: The Definitive Guide" (2007), p. 294 with ''Enter'' also having a hint of doom metal. In an interview, den Adel said they fell into a symphonic rock genre with various influences. "Stand My Ground" is the first single from Dutch band Within Temptation's album ''The Silent Force''. The song is also included on the US edition of the band's 2007 album ''The Heart of Everything''. "Restless" is the debut single of by Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation. It is taken as the first and only single from their debut album '' Enter''. Although the song was released as a single, it never entered the charts, just like their following single, "Our Farewell". There was no promotional video for the single. Mina Caputo (born Keith Caputo; December 4, 1973) is an American singer best known as the lead vocalist and a founding member of New York City alternative metal band Life of Agony. Caputo came out as transgender in 2011 and transitioned to female. Early life Mina Caputo was born on December 4, 1973, in Brooklyn, New York. Both her parents were of Italian-American descent.
