Agnelli Family
The Agnelli family () is an Italian multi-industry business dynasty founded by Giovanni Agnelli, one of the original founders of the Fiat motor company which became Italy's largest automobile manufacturer. They are also primarily known for other activities in the automotive industry by investing in Ferrari (1969), Lancia (1969), Alfa Romeo (1986) and Chrysler, the latter acquired by Fiat after it filed for bankruptcy in 2009. Edoardo Agnelli (1831–71)
Edoardo Agnelli (Turin, 18 July 1831 – 7 November 1871) was an Italian entrepreneur and politician. Biography Edoardo Carlo Tommaso Agnelli, better known as Edoardo Agnelli, was the youngest son of Giuseppe Francesco Agnelli and Anna Maria Maggia. He was the father of Giovanni Agnelli, co-founder of FIAT. At birth he was baptised at home with the Superior's permission and six days later in the Church of San Carlo in Turin. Egon, Prinz von Fürstenberg (Eduard Egon Peter Paul Giovanni Prinz zu Fürstenberg; 29 June 1946 – 11 June 2004) was a socialite, banker, fashion and interior designer, and a member of the former German princely family of Fürstenberg. The House of Fürstenberg is the name of an old and influential Swabian noble house in Germany, based primarily in what is today southern Baden-Württemberg near the source of the Danube river.
