Adeel Akhtar
Adeel Akhtar (born 18 September 1980) is a British actor. In 2017, he won the British Academy Television Award for Best Actor for his role in ''Murdered by My Father''. He was also nominated for a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actor for his role on Channel 4's '' Utopia'', as well as a British Academy Film Award nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role for ''Ali & Ava''. Early life Akhtar was born in London, to a Pakistani father and a Kenyan mother. He was educated at Cheltenham College Junior School from 1991 to 1994 and then moved to Cheltenham College in Newick House from 1994 to 1999. He originally completed a degree in law from Oxford Brookes University in 2002, but decided to follow his passion and change to acting, training at the Actors Studio Drama School, then within The New School, in New York. Chris Morris (satirist)
Christopher J Morris (born 15 June 1962) is an English comedian, radio presenter, actor, and filmmaker. Known for his deadpan, dark humour, surrealism, and controversial subject matter, he has been praised by the British Film Institute for his "uncompromising, moralistic drive". In the early 1990s, Morris teamed up with his radio producer Armando Iannucci to create ''On the Hour'', a satire of news programmes. This was expanded into a television spin off, ''The Day Today'', which launched the career of comedian Steve Coogan and has since been hailed as one of the most important satirical shows of the 1990s. Morris further developed the satirical news format with ''Brass Eye'', which lampooned celebrities whilst focusing on themes such as crime and drugs.
