Aastiparulu
''Aastiparulu'' () is a 1966 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by V. B. Rajendra Prasad and directed by V. Madhusudhana Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Jayalalithaa, with music composed by K. V. Mahadevan. The film was remade in Tamil as ''En Thambi'' and in Hindi as '' Bhai Ho To Aisa''. The storyline was also an inspiration for the 2008 Telugu film ''King'' (2008). Plot The film begins in a Zamindary family, Janardhan Rao, its paterfamilias, holds high esteem in society. He lives along with his wife Kaasulamma, two sons Krishna, & Bhaskar/ Bachi, and an infant daughter Ammulu. The elder one Krishna is altruistic whereas the younger Bachi is a vagabond. Bhai Ho To Aisa
''Bhai Ho To Aisa'' () is a 1972 Indian Hindi-language action film, produced by A.K. Nadiadwala under the A.K. Movies Pvt Ltd banner and directed by Manmohan Desai. It stars Jeetendra, Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha and music composed by Sonik-Omi. Jaggayya
Kongara Jaggayya (31 December 1928 – 5 March 2004) was an Indian actor, littérateur, journalist, lyricist, dubbing artist and politician known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He was known as ''Kanchu Kantham Jaggayya'' (Telugu) for his booming voice. In a film career spanning forty years as a matinee idol, he starred in eighty films, as a lead actor, and lead antagonist in a variety of genres. In 1967, he was elected as a member of the fourth Lok Sabha, from the constituency of Ongole, becoming the first Indian film actor to be elected as a member of the Parliament. Gummadi (actor)
Gummadi Venkateswara Rao (9 July 1927 – 26 January 2010), known mononymously by his surname Gummadi, was an Indian actor and producer, who worked predominantly in Telugu cinema and a few Tamil films. Known as one of the finest method actors, Gummadi starred in around five hundred feature films. He received critical recognition for his work in '' Thodu Dongalu'' (1954) and '' Mahamantri Timmarusu'' (1962), for which he has received the erstwhile Rashtrapati Award. Gummadi was an official member of the Indian delegation from South India to the ''Tashkent Film Festival'' in 1978 and 1982. Dasari Girija ( 3 March 1938 – 5 September 1995) was an Indian actress who has worked in Telugu films. She was active in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s in comic roles. Suryakantham (28 October 1924 – 18 December 1994) was an Indian actress in Tollywood. She was popular for playing the role of a cruel mother-in-law in most of her movies. Early life Suryakantham was born and brought up in a Telugu Brahmin family residing at Venkata Krishnaraya Puram near Kakinada of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. She was the 14th child to her parents, ten of whose children had died. She learnt dance and singing at the age of six. She married Peddibhotla Chalapati Rao, a High Court Judge, in 1950.
