The 2014 Copa del Rey Final was the 112th final of Copa del Rey, Spain's premier football cup since its establishment (including two seasons where two rival editions were played). The match was an ''El Clásico'' between Real Madrid CF, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, Barcelona on 16 April 2014 at Mestalla Stadium, Mestalla in Valencia, making it the seventh such Copa del Rey final (2011 Copa del Rey Final, the most recent was also played at the Mestalla on 20 April 2011). Real Madrid won the cup for the 19th time after a 2–1 win. In winning the final, Real Madrid went on to play against Atlético Madrid, the winners of the 2013–14 La Liga season, in the 2014 Supercopa de España. Club Deportivo Olímpic de Xàtiva is a Spanish football team based in Xàtiva, in the Valencian Community. Founded in 1932 it currently plays in Regional Preferente, holding home games at Campo de Futbol La Murta. The 2012 Copa del Rey Final was the 110th final since the tournament's establishment (including two seasons where two rival editions were played). The match was contested by Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona on 25 May 2012 at the Vicente Calderón in Madrid. This was the clubs' first meeting in the final since 2009 where Barcelona won the trophy with a 4–1 victory. The same teams, the two with the most cup wins in the history of the competition, also met in the Round of 16 of the 2010–11 edition, in which Barça prevailed on away goals after two draws. Barcelona lifted the trophy for the 26th time in their history with a 3–0 victory.
