2010 Supercupa României
The 2010 Supercupa României was the 12th edition of Romania's season opener cup competition. The match was played in Cluj-Napoca at Dr. Constantin Rădulescu on 18 July 2010, and was contested between Liga I title holders and Supercup defending champions, CFR Cluj and Liga I runners-up, FC Unirea Urziceni. This was the first edition of the Supercup to face the Liga I winners and the league's runners-up, since CFR won the double in 2010. The new format of the competition, in which the double winner plays the league runner-up at home ground was proposed and adopted by Romanian Football Federation the same year. Cluj won the game after penalties. After regular time the game ended 1–1 after goals of Dominique Kivuvu and again Kivuvu, but this time in the wrong goal. Supercupa României
The Supercupa României ( en, Romanian Supercup) is a Romanian football championship contested by the winners of the Liga I and the Cupa României. It is usually played at the Arena Națională in Bucharest. The competition started off in 1994, with the first edition being won by Steaua București. In 2010, for the first time in its history, the Supercup was held even though CFR Cluj had been victorious in both the league and the cup in the previous season. At that time, they faced Unirea Urziceni, the Liga I runners-up. The most successful performer so far has been FCSB with 6 wins, followed by Rapid București and CFR Cluj with 4 wins each up until 2021. Cristian Panin
Cristian Călin Panin (born 9 June 1978) is a retired Romanian footballer who played as a right back or left back. He is currently the team manager at CFR Cluj. Club career Cristan Panin was born on 9 June 1978 in Arad, Romania, beginning his senior career in 1997 at local club UTA in Liga II, helping the team promote to Liga I in the 2001–02 season, a competition in which he made his debut on 18 August 2002 under coach Ionuț Popa in a 2–1 loss against Național București. Edimar (footballer, Born 1986)
Edimar Curitiba Fraga (born 21 May 1986), simply known as Edimar, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Vasco da Gama. Club career Born in Iconha, Espírito Santo, Edimar joined Cruzeiro's youth setup in 2003, aged 16, after starting it out at Cachoeiro. In 2006, he was loaned to Guarani, but only appeared in one match during the whole campaign. In 2008, Edimar played 13 Campeonato Mineiro games for Tupi and scored one goal, before moving to Ipatinga. He appeared in five Série A matches for the latter. Nuno Claro
Nuno Claro Simões Coimbra (born 7 January 1977), known as Claro, is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Claro was born in Tondela, Viseu District. During his Portuguese career he played almost always in the lower leagues (second division or lower), starting out at local club Académico de Viseu FC. Petre Marin (; born 8 September 1973) is a retired Romanian footballer who played as a defender. Club career Marin made his professional debut in 1993, when he was signed by Sportul Studenţesc of Bucharest. In 1995, he joined FC Naţional București, where he remained until 2004. During the 2000–01 season, while under contract with Naţional București, he was loaned to Rapid București. In 2004, he was transferred to Steaua București and quickly earned himself a place in the first eleven. His six-year spell with Steaua include two Liga 1 titles, and a UEFA Cup semi-final in 2006. Pablo Brandán
Pablo Daniel Brandán (; born 5 March 1983) is an Argentine former footballer and manager. Career Brandán was born in Merlo. He won the 2008–09 Liga I edition with Unirea Urziceni, under the coaching of Dan Petrescu. In the same season he was selected the Liga I left back of the year. In September 2010 he signed a contract with Steaua București before follow teammates from Unirea Urziceni: Galamaz, Ricardo, Marinescu, Apostol and Bilașco who signed one week earlier. Vasile Maftei (born 1 January 1981) is a Romanian retired footballer who played as a defender. He was best known for his leadership qualities, becoming captain for Rapid București, Unirea Urziceni, Concordia Chiajna and Voluntari. Although primarily a central defender, when needed he operated as a right back. Maftei was formed at Rapid București, where he became a key part of the team, winning one league title in 2003, one Romanian Cup and one Super Cup in 2002. Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) is one of the names of the UTC+03:00 time zone, which is 3 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time.
