18th IIFA Awards
The 2017 IIFA Awards, officially known as the 18th International Indian Film Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the International Indian Film Academy honouring the best Hindi films of 2016, occurred in MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on 14–15 July 2017. It was the first time that the awards held there and also IIFA returned to United States after 2014. ''Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'' led the ceremony with 8 nominations, followed by '' M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story'', ''Pink'' and ''Udta Punjab'' with 7 nominations each. Amit Mishra (singer)
Amit Mishra is an Indian singer, songwriter, voice actor and live performer. He became more well known after the release of the song " Bulleya" sung by him from the film "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" ; for his rendition of the song he won a Filmfare Award for new music talent, Screen Award for Best Male Playback and IIFA Award for Best Male Playback. He got nominated for the same song in different award shows. He has also sung in some of Telugu, Bengali and Marathi films. Channa Mereya () is an Indian Urdu song from the Bollywood film ''Ae Dil Hai Mushkil''. The song is penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, composed by Pritam and sung by Arijit Singh. It was released on 29 September 2016 by Sony Music India. Amitabh Bhattacharya
Amitabh Bhattacharya (born 16 November 1976) is an Indian lyricist and playback singer who works in Bollywood films. He shot to fame with the film ''Dev.D'' with the song "Emotional Atyachar" turning an instant hit. He sang this song under the name "Band Master Rangeela And Rasila". Pritam Chakraborty (born 14 June 1971), also known mononymously as Pritam, is an Indian composer, instrumentalist, guitarist, and singer. After working as an ad jingles composer, he debuted as a co-composer in the 2001 Hindi film Tere Liye. As a solo composer, his composition of the title track of Dhoom helped him win the Zee Cine Award for Best Track of the Year. In a career spanning nearly two decades, he has composed music for more than 125 Bollywood movies and has been the recipient of numerous awards. ''The Untold Story'' is a 1993 Hong Kong crime-thriller film directed by Herman Yau and starring Danny Lee and Anthony Wong, with the former also serving as the film's producer.
