The thickness of the layer is different in various parts of the area; it is in the center, where the thickness is the greatest, where it is possible that the magma is being fed to the Rajmahal Traps up above. Presence of underplating is also found in the Cambay rift at the depth range of 25 and 31 km through gravity modeling.
