His father was Randy Moy (died July 7, 2020), whose impact on hockey in San Diego dates back over 40 years. His Swiss mother Susanna had moved to California in the early nineties.


Playing career

On April 6, 2021, Moy agreed to an early two-year contract extension with Servette through the 2022/23 season.
