They announced their break-up on their official website in December 2011 and played their final show in Baltimore on January 21, 2012. In July 2017, Pulling Teeth reunited to play a set at This Is Hardcore Festival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Martyr Immortal album.
