Karl-Heinz Lambertz (born 4 June 1952) is a Belgian politician holding a master's degree in law from the University of Louvain (UCLouvain) with an additional specialisation in German law ( University of Heidelberg). CoR member since 2001
and was president of the CoR's PES Group between 2011 and 2015. Since 2000, he has been a member of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, in which he is currently vice-president. On 17 July 2008, he was one of three senior Belgian politicians commissioned by King Albert II to investigate ways of enabling constitutional reform talks in the light of the long-running Belgian constitutional crisis.
