KORE Wireless is a publicly traded company (NYSE: KORE) that provides IoT connectivity, managed services, and related solutions. The company supports more than 20 million active IoT connections worldwide across sectors including healthcare, logistics, fleet, utilities, and industrial automation.

KORE operates as a global IoT MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator), offering multi-carrier connectivity in over 200 countries and territories. Its portfolio includes eSIM technologies, a connectivity management platform (CMP), and professional services to assist customers with deployment, provisioning, and ongoing operations.

KORE became a public company in 2021 through a SPAC merger with Cerberus Telecom Acquisition Corp. It continues to serve enterprise customers and solution providers looking for scalable IoT infrastructure and services.KORE is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

History

KORE was founded in 2003.

KORE cemented its North American presence early on by establishing direct connectivity partnerships with Rogers in Canada and AT&T in the U.S., providing seamless LTE-M and broader IoT services across both markets.

Wireless Matrix Corp selected KORE to provide the platform for fleet management across North America.

In 2010 Geotab selected KORE to enable it to expand its European fleet management products. KORE signed an agreement with both Vodafone and Iridium Communications to expand its MVNO M2M service to more than 180 countries in March 2011.

After launching M2M consulting company KORE Systems, the company then acquired all assets of nPhase from Verizon Wireless.

In May 2013, KORE became a founding member of the International M2M Council, with KORE's then COO Alex Brisbourne joining the Council's Board of Governors. In November 2013, Inmarsat appointed KORE as its M2M distribution partner,

In March 2014, KORE acquired Jazz Wireless Data to further enhance its service portfolio.

In November 2014, KORE announced that ABRY Partners would invest in KORE and simultaneously announced that KORE would acquire RacoWireless.

In April 2016, KORE acquired Wyless Group. Wyless Group, founded in 2003 by Christopher Lowery, a UK telecoms entrepreneur, had operating subsidiaries in UK, USA, Europe, Latin America and Asia.

In December 2018, KORE announced its acquisition of Aspider.

In December 2019, KORE announced its acquisition of Integron, an IoT solutions and managed services provider.

In October 2021, KORE debuted on the New York Stock Exchange following the completion of its SPAC merger with Cerberus Telecom Acquisition Corp. Since that milestone, it has traded under the ticker symbol KORE and continues to operate as a public company.

In February 2022, KORE acquired Business Mobility Partners and SIMON IoT.

In June 2023, KORE acquired the IoT and Wireless Business unit from Twilio.
