With Aravind's help, Nirmala is also hired in Nandhini's company. Nirmala eventually falls in love with Aravind. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.

The film was produced by A. L. Azhagappan. His son Udhaya under his original name Senthilkumar made his acting debut with this film appearing in a small role.
