Career

Juuso was the first Sami named "Traditional Folk Musician of the year" in Norway 2012, and had a long career performing with various musicians in Scandinavia. She also appeared in the film ''The Kautokeino Rebellion'' (2008) by

, and was recognized as a major carrier and promoter of the Sami cultural tradition. In 2008, she released the album ''Patterns of the heart'' (DAT) by the ''Inga Juuso Group'', followed by "Bálggis" ("Vuelie"), with the musical group ''Bárut''.
