Yousaf started his career at

in 1990. He transferred to WAPDA FC the following season and stayed there for five years. In 1995, he moved to ABL FC where he became captain. He retired in 2003. He has been a winner of the national football championship 4 times and runner up on 4 occasions. He also won the PFF Cup 4 times and was runner up once. Yousaf also played a short while for
