Hu Wenrong (; born July 1964) is a Chinese politician currently serving as head of the Organization Department of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. He was an alternate of the 19th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and is an alternate of the 20th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. He was a representative of the 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party.

Hu was born in Putian County (now Putian),
