. The complex is roughly situated between Changgwang, Chollima and Jebangsan streets. The complex contains a number of administrative buildings as well as apartment buildings surrounded by a wall.


Overview

Among others, are the seat of the Secretariat, the central meeting hall of the Workers' Party. In October 2019 it was reported that windows in many high-rise windows facing the complex were blocked out for security. In 2019 the complex saw large construction activity. Satellite images showed construction activity between February and April 2020, showed an old building that was thought to be private clinic of the North Korean leadership was torn down and a new, larger building with multiple rooms or separate areas is under construction.
