However, following the success of "Cake by the Ocean" and "Toothbrush", the album's release was pushed back to allow the band to properly promote the singles. In August, ''Billboard'' reported that recording was finished. The album's title of ''DNCE'' and release date of November 18, 2016, were announced on September 14, 2016, through a promotional video. Singles

" Body Moves" was released as the lead single for ''DNCE'' on September 30, 2016. An accompanying video premiered October 11, 2016, that features the band members in provocative scenarios. "Body Moves" reached the top 2 on the ''Billboard'' Dance Club Songs chart. "Good Day" received an official remix on September 22, 2017.
