Privacy and Security Issues

In February 2016, concerns were raised regarding the privacy and security of Baidu Browser. A report from Citizen Lab highlighted potential vulnerabilities, indicating that the browser could expose users to risks related to data privacy. The findings suggested that Baidu Browser may collect sensitive user information without adequate transparency, prompting discussions about the need for improved security measures and user consent in data handling practices.{{Cite report , url=https://citizenlab.ca/2016/02/privacy-security-issues-baidu-browser/ , title=Baidu's and Don'ts: Privacy and Security Issues in Baidu Browser , last=Knockel , first=Jeffrey , last2=McKune , first2=Sarah , last3=Senft , first3=Adam , date=2016-02-23 , publisher=University of Toronto , issue=Citizen Lab Research Report No. 70
