Sandberg started playing football at IFK Lindesberg and then she went on to play for Adolfsbergs IK. Her first senior club was Örebro SK Söder. She made her senior debut with the team in 2019, making four appearances in Division 1, the third highest league in Sweden. In December 2020, Sandberg signed for

team KIF Örebro, initially joining the club's under-19 side but made her debut with the first team on 13 March 2020, starting and playing 63 minutes in a 3–0 defeat to Hammarby in the
