ﾃ］gel de Andrﾃｩs Miquel was a Spanish theatre actor and director. Background In 1938, after the Spanish Civil War broke out, the young Andrﾃｩs worked as an amateur street actor and then as a "galﾃ｡n cﾃｳmico" in the Salvador Videgain theatre company. In the following years, 1940 played roles in the Isbert, Infanta Isabel and Marﾃｭa Guerrero theatre companies, among others. Andrﾃｩs began his own theatre company with Antonio Casal, which became very successful. It was there that Andrﾃｩs met actress Chity Juﾃ｡rez. Andrﾃｩs and Juﾃ｡rez married in 1959 and remained together for the rest of Andrﾃｩs' life. They had two children. From 1939 until the 1990s, Andrﾃｩs had regular jobs in theatre, cinema and television. He used his full name as his stage name, however, the people who knew him always called him Angelito de Andrﾃｩs (Angelito is the familiar form for ﾃ］gel). Fernando Fernﾃ｡ndez Gﾃｳmez (28 August 1921 窶 21 November 2007) better known as Fernando Fernﾃ｡n Gﾃｳmez was a Spanish actor, screenwriter, film director, theater director and member of the Royal Spanish Academy for seven years. He was born in Peru while his mother, Spanish actress Carola Fernﾃ｡n-Gﾃｳmez, was making a tour in Latin America. He would later use her surname for his stage name when he moved to Spain in 1924. Biography The most probable thing, as he wrote in his memoirs, is that he was born in Lima on 28 August 1921, even if his birth certificate indicates that he was born in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires. The reason for this is that his mother, the theater actress Carola Fernﾃ｡n Gﾃｳmez, was touring South America when he was born in Lima, so his birth certificate was issued days later in Argentina, a country whose nationality he retained, in addition to Spanish nationality, which was granted to him in 1984. Rafael Gil (22 May 1913 窶 10 July 1986) was a Spanish film director and screenwriter. His film ''La guerra de Dios'' (1953) won the Bronze Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 1953 and also won best film and best director at the San Sebastiﾃ｡n International Film Festival. His film ''La noche del sﾃ｡bado'' (1950) was nominated for the Gold Lion at the 1950 Venice Film Festival and his film ''El beso de Judas'' (1954) was also nominated for the Gold Lion at the 1954 festival in Venice.
