''Temporal'' is the second album by the Spanish band Radio Tarifa, released internationally in 1997. The band supported the album with a North American tour. Production The album was produced by Fain Dueñas and Vincent Molino; Dueñas was also the musical director. ''Temporal'' incorporates more flamenco elements into the band's sound. Radio Tarifa used such instruments as the darbuka, oud, crumhorn, and ney. Studio musicians backed Radio Tarifa's three main members. Temporal (Love Spirals Downwards Album)
Love Spirals Downwards was an American, California-based band, that incorporated ethereal wave, dream pop, drum and bass and electronica. History Love Spirals Downwards was begun by multi-instrumentalist Ryan Lum and then-girlfriend Suzanne Perry. In 1991, Lum and Perry recorded a demo, which led to a contract with Projekt Records. Over its 8-year history, the band released four full-length albums, a career retrospective and a CD single, selling (by their own account) in excess of 40,000 albums. They were also included on over two dozen various artist compilations, including the ''Heavenly Voices'' series released by the German label Hyperium Records. Perry's sister Kristen collaborated with Lum and Perry on two tracks on the 1998 album, '' Flux''. Gameplay In ''Temporal'', players control an unnamed robotical being which cannot recall his past and tries to figure out where he is, and his purpose. With only a propeller on his head, players control the quirky robot using only the arrow keys - interacting with the environment in order to advance and learn more about their surroundings. The game focuses on puzzle solving and the unraveling of a continuous story that require the player to use the environment in various ways, such as pushing boxes around, destroying floors, manipulating chemicals, using automated guns and activating terminals and trigger beams. ''Temporal'' is a 2022 Sri Lankan science fiction short film directed by Akash Sunethkumara. Plot On a tragic night, a physicist challenges the limits of time travel to save the woman he loves, but soon discovers its inherent dangers are far greater than he expects. Kalpa is a physicist employed at Tusker Enterprises in the Research and Development Division where he works on a time-travel machine which he tries to make functional. He misses a night out that his girlfriend Nikita had organized to introduce him to her friends, coinciding with Mallett's Comet flying over the city. Temporality
In philosophy, temporality refers to the idea of a linear progression of past, present, and future. The term is frequently used, however, in the context of critiques of commonly held ideas of linear time. In social sciences, temporality is studied with respect to the human perception of time and the social organization of time. The perception of time underwent significant changes in the three hundred years between the Middle Ages and modernity. Temporalities or temporal goods are the secular properties and possessions of the church. The term is most often used to describe those properties (a ''Stift'' in German or ''sticht'' in Dutch) that were used to support a bishop or other religious person or establishment. Its opposite are spiritualities. History In the Middle Ages, the temporalities were usually those lands that were held by a bishop and used to support him. Ephemerality (from the Greek word , meaning 'lasting only one day') is the concept of things being transitory, existing only briefly. Academically, the term ephemeral constitutionally describes a diverse assortment of things and experiences, from digital media to types of streams. "There is no single definition of ephemerality". Impermanence, also known as the philosophical problem of change, is a philosophical concept addressed in a variety of religions and philosophies. In Eastern philosophy it is notable for its role in the Buddhist three marks of existence. It is also an element of Hinduism. In Western philosophy it is most famously known through its first appearance in Greek philosophy in the writings of Heraclitus and in his doctrine of ''panta rhei'' (everything flows). In Western philosophy the concept is also referred to as '' ''becoming''.
