The Miami Valley School (MVS) is a private, independent day school for grades Pre-K through 12 located in Dayton, Ohio. The school was founded in 1964. The Miami Valley School is a non-profit organization and is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States. It is also a member of the Ohio Association of Independent Schools (OAIS) and the National Association of Independent Schools. The school serves approximately 480 students across all grades. The school consists of four divisions. The Early Childhood School includes two preschool grades, called EC1 and EC2. The kindergarten through 5th grade unit is called the Lower School, instead of the more common elementary school. The 6th through 8th-grade academic unit has the traditional Middle School title. The Park School Of Buffalo
The Park School of Buffalo is a private, co-educational, college preparatory school located in Amherst, New York (north of Buffalo). Founded in 1912 during the American country day school movement, the institution features lower, middle, and upper schools, serving roughly 290 students from Pre-Kindergarten and Montessori through grade 12. About Park History Originally located in downtown Buffalo, The Park School was founded in 1912 by a group of Buffalo parents seeking an alternative to the existing pre-preparatory institutions in the area. The group consulted with John Dewey and observed one of his students, Mary Hammett Lewis of Columbia University, then an instructor at the prestigious Horace Mann School in New York City. The Nutter Center is a multi-purpose arena located at Wright State University, in Fairborn, Ohio. It mainly serves as the home court of the Wright State Raiders men's and women's basketball teams.
