The Headhunters were a professional wrestling tag team who consists of American twin brothers Manuel and Victor Santiago (born August 11, 1968, in New York, New York), best known by the respective ring names, Headhunter A and Headhunter B, although they were announced as Mofat and Mahim (spellings uncertain) during their appearances in ECW. History Early career (1987–1991) The Santiago brothers trained under Johnny Rodz and both debuted in 1987. There were among the Puerto Rican wrestlers brought to Canada during the talent exchange between Lutte Internationale and the World Wrestling Council. Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (also known by its initials as GLOW or G.L.O.W.) is a women's professional wrestling promotion that began in 1986 (the pilot was filmed in December 1985) and has continued in various forms after it left television. Colorful characters, strong women, and over-the-top comedy sketches were integral to the series' success. Most of the performers were actresses, models, dancers or stunt women hoping to enter show business. Inception David B. McLane created the series while working as an announcer and promoter with Indianapolis-based World Wrestling Association (WWA) after seeing fans react to women's wrestling. The show runner Dick the Bruiser believed that Indianapolis audiences would not be receptive to a wrestling promotion featuring female wrestlers and dismissed the concept as an unprofitable novelty. César Cuauhtémoc González Barrón (9 January 1968 – 11 May 2019) was a Mexican '' luchador enmascarado'' (masked wrestler). Carl Brantley is an American retired professional wrestler, best known by the ring name Vladimir Koloff, who played a fictional Russian character during his career. He competed in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), Smoky Mountain Wrestling (SMW), and Japan during the early 1990s. Oreal Donald Perras (August 25, 1942 – February 18, 2017) was a Canadian professional wrestler, better known by the ring name "the Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff, where he was billed from Russia and, following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Ukraine. He was the third wrestler to hold the WWWF Championship. In April 2025, it was announced that Koloff would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
